MEET THE TEAM

luis-nazarioLuis Nazario was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he took his first steps in the fashion industry. At an early age, Luis had a passion to expand his knowledge in fashion, and at the age of 15, while his peers played basketball and video games, Luis was on a quest for a successful future.

I felt that I was born to sew.”

I felt that I was born to sew.”

Unsure of what path to take, Nazario attended JoseMantanez Genaro – Manati, PR, where he obtained a BAS in Graphic Design Communications. Shortly after receiving his degree, he began providing graphics services to Tiempo de Nino, a high-end children’s couture clothing boutique owned by a friend. Before long, Luis found that he was increasingly intrigued by the design and construction of the boutique’s clothing. This newfound interest was pivotal in his career, and he decided to pursue an education in the fashion industry.

Luis landed positions at several high end boutiques in the PR area, sewing formal gowns and providing difficult alteration services. He dreamed of establishing a successful atelier to house his couture bridal and formal collections, and in 2007 his  dream was realized when he partnered with Andre Yabin to launch Binzario Couture in Dallas, Texas. Luis now oversees the precise construction of the company’s couture gowns, along with restyling services and alterations.

andre-yabinAndre Yabin was raised in Philadelphia, where his mother’s love of fashion influenced what has since become his passion. His journey through fashion design began in a middle school home economics class that sparked an interest in both millinery fashion and the practical concepts of sewing.

I’m passionate about making women look their very best – elegant and classy.”

While Andre’s passion for design was apparent at an early age, he decided to explore some related interests, such as architecture, graphic design, music, photography and fashion. He studied architecture at Philadelphia University, earning a BS in digital design with a concentration in architecture. After college, he landed a position with The Prisco Group, an architecture design firm, specializing in educational facility design. He was hired as one of the lead digital designers for the Microsoft School of the Future Project, Philadelphia, PA.

In 2003, Yabin was offered an opportunity to relocate to Dallas  for an architectural design position at Jonathan Bailey Associates, but after about a year, he decided to shelf his successful career to pursue his passion for fashion. After furthering his education in fashion design, Andre partnered with fashion designer Luis Nazario to form luxury fashion house Binzario Couture.

Now the Head Designer and Creative Director of Binzario Couture, Andre designs with each woman’s individual sense of femininity in mind.
